EXCLUSIVE ED GLEAVE A KATIE Price wannabe is risking his life to look like his idol.
“Liam”, 22, is so desperate to be the star’s double he will stop at nothing – even backstreet plastic surgery.
The Birmingham lad, who wears make-up, false nails and pink outfits, said: “When I was 14 I was always itching to be tanned and glamorous just like Katie. I love everything about her.
“Pretty much everything she’s had done, I’ve had done. I’ve had Botox, a nose job, eye whitening – about 90% of my money goes on beauty products.
“She gets fillers done every three months. And I’ve gone backstreet because when you haven’t got the money you’ll do anything to get that look.”
Liam was offered free filler injections but the procedure made his lips “explode”. After he was rushed to hospital, doctors explained he had been injected with cooking oil.
Liam said: “I can’t say I’ll never take that risk again. If someone offered me free filler again I’d do it because I’ll think to myself, ‘ Maybe I had a bad batch’.”
Medics have since warned Liam that further backstreet ops could kill him.
He said: “I took the advice on board. But I am a risk-taker. I do feel like I’m similar to Katie Price.
“She doesn’t care about the risks – she’ll go ahead and do it anyway.
“I relate a lot to that. This is my body and it’s my life. And if it does go wrong… for the worse…then more fool me at the end of the day. That’s the risk that I’m prepared to take.”
Liam uses sunbeds three times a week and also has spray tans as well as putting on up to seven layers of fake tan a day.
He said: “You definitely need the tan if you want to be like The Pricey.”
To avoid his tan going patchy, Liam regularly scrubs himself with bleach.
And he is now planning to have a facelift to look more like his idol.
He added: “Image is the most important thing in my life because without it I wouldn’t be The Pricey.”
Liam tells his story on the new show OMG: Make Me A Famous Face, tonight on Channel 5.
The programme also features Manchester lass Chloe, 31, who has had a boob job, nose op and lip-fillers to look like Kim Kardashian.
Meanwhile, her pal Munis tries to look like Zayn Malik. TV legend Alan Alda has revealed how he was robbed of his famous smile by a dentist who botched a routine op by cutting into muscle in his gums.
The star, now 81, is best known for playing US Army surgeon Hawkeye Pierce in M*A*S*H, the Korean War sitcom of the 70s and 80s.
In his new autobiography he says he only realised the dental surgery had gone badly wrong while shooting a film shortly after.
Alda was horrified when a cameraman said his expression looked more like a sneer. But the actor added: “I learned to work around it and my new, slightly offkilter grin enabled me to play a whole new set of villains.”
