‘He’s a great talent’ says co-star

CILLIAN Murphy has tipped ■

Dunkirk co-star Harry Styles to be one of Hollywood’s biggest names.

He was impressed by the One Direction star’s hard work while filming the action epic.

Harry auditioned for the role, beating hundreds of other hopefuls to get the part.

Director Christopher Nolan has insisted he had no idea about his global fame when he cast him.

Cillian said: “Dunkirk will be ■

just the start of a Hollywood career for Harry. I expect him to be in the business for a long time.

“It’s cynical and unfair to suggest Harry only got the role because he was part of the biggest boyband on the planet. Anybody who has worked with Chris Nolan knows what a perfectionist he is and the calibre of movie he makes.

“He isn’t going to cast you unless you are the best actor for the role. He was cast because he saw the ability and talent in him.

“I am sure it’s going to be a long and successful career in Hollywood.”

Harry plays British Army ■

private Alex in the film – his first big-screen outing.

Cillian added: “He is a really likeable charismatic kid and he has no ego at all. We laughed a lot together.

“All the cast and crew were so complimentary of Harry – his work ethic, his attitude and, most of all, his ability.”
