Brit’s £2m poker win
A BRITISH grandad has pocketed £2million in the world’s most prestigious poker contest.
John Hesp, 64, made it to the final table of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
The caravan salesman from Bridlington, East Yorks, said playing there was on his bucket list and made a change from the local casino in Hull.
John, who came fourth, added: “I lived the dream and loved it.”
The grandad of seven’s win is thought to be the second biggest cash prize ever by a British player in the tournament.
