Fernando Turks off

-

FERNANDO is set to quit Manchester City for Galatasaray in an £8million deal this week. The Brazilian midfielder (left) who will be 30 on Tuesday, has been offered a three-year contract by the Turkish club on a tasty £80,000-a-week AFTER tax. There is also the option of a fourth year in Istanbul in the deal for a player who was also wanted by Valencia. Roma, meanwhile, want two City players in Serbia defender Aleksandar Kolarov, 31, at £4m and former France midfielder Samir Nasri, 30, at £10m. City have been holding out for £5m for Kolarov who they signed from Roma’s bitter rivals Lazio. Former Arsenal star Nasri is regarded as a priority signing by the Italian giants. He has only just returned to Pep Guardiola’s squad after being on loan in Spain with Sevilla last season. PAUL HETHERINGTON
