Where’s the ashtray?
MY father-in-law had a ■
Cavalier GSi. He couldn’t work out why the ashtray was cleaned out every morning. Turned out a local tramp had been sleeping in it and smoking all his old stubs. Symbiosis, right there. Anyway, I digress. This is Vauxhall’s new Insignia GSi. Headline stats are 260PS and 400Nm of torque from the turbocharged two-litre engine, permanent four-wheel drive via an eight-speed auto-box, 160kg less pork, a lower ride height, a boot spoiler and Brembo brakes.
The GSi makes its full debut at September’s Frankfurt show. I bet it hasn’t even got an ashtray.
