A BUNCH OF DIMPLETONS

Harry’s fans fork out for cheek tweak

BARMY Harry Styles fans are having facial surgery to copy his famous dimples.

Thousands have paid £650 for a 30-minute dimpleplasty op to give themselves the same angelic look as the One Direction star.

Demand in the US has gone through the roof since photos appeared of Harry promoting the Oscar-tipped Second World War blockbuster Dunkirk, which opened in the UK on Friday.

Now the craze is expected to take off in the UK.

Dr Wright Jones, founder of the Muse Plastic Surgery clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, said pictures of the dimpled hunk in uniform have left fans wanting to replicate his appearance themselves.

He reckons he is performing at least three times more dimpleplasty ops than last year.

And Harry, 23, has overtaken dimpled celebs such as movie stars Brad Pitt and Jake Gyllenhaal in popularity.

Even female fans are clamouring for his choirboy looks, Dr Jones said.

He added: “The procedure is trending not only because the results are so profound but also, in part, because it’s so quick.

He explained: “To create the fake dim- ples, surgeons create an incision inside a patient’s mouth, where a defect is created in the cheek muscle, known as the buccinator.

“The muscle is then attached to the undersurface of the skin so that the dimples are seen upon animation, but not when the face is relaxed.”

The op also requires no general anaesthetic, but lasts only up to two months.

Last week the Daily Star Sunday revealed Harry needed as many bodyguards as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp have between them while promoting Dunkirk.

Co-star Cillian Murphy also tipped Harry to become one of Hollywood’s biggest names.
