DELUDED telly paedo Rolf Harris has vowed to resurrect his showbiz career with a new art series for children.

Sources close to the child molester, 87, say he has been telling pals of an approach by an Australian company for a programme that could go worldwide.

Harris’ books on drawing techniques remain popular in libraries, despite his vile crimes.

And the millionaire pervert, who was recently released from jail, is convinced this will help him to make a TV comeback.

Although he is on the sex offenders’ register, he claims filming in a studio away from children will prevent him breaching the terms of his licence.

A mole said: “He has managed to stir some interest from an Australian TV company, who are in talks with him about a show.

“But the chances of this ever seeing the light of day are extremely slim. “Making a show with a name like Rolf would severely damage a production company’s image. “No reputable broadcaster will pay to screen it.”

Harris is also set to rake in the cash amid rumours his art books will be reprinted.

He was released from HMP Stafford in May after serving almost three years for 12 indecent assaults on four girls aged as young as eight.

He had faced further indecent assault charges but walked free after jurors failed to reach a verdict. Since his release, much of Harris’ time has been taken up with caring for his ailing wife Alwen, 85.
