RAPPER will.i.am has boasted Simon Cowell couldn’t afford to hire him for The X Factor.

Simon is struggling to hold on to his talent show crown after ratings started to nosedive. weird that they are rival shows. But I’m The Voice all day, every day. Would I allow Simon to poach me?

“If he offered me a trillion pounds to do X Factor I wouldn’t do it.

I’m all about The Voice.”

Will has publicly slammed X Factor in the past for being too cruel.

He reckons The Voice is a better talent show because it focuses on the vocals.

In comments that angered Simon, he said: “I fell in love with The Voice because of what it stands for. I couldn’t go on X Factor because they don’t have the same principles. It’s the total opposite.

“On The Voice I’m not judging you with my opinion, I’m judging you with my ears. But on X Factor it’s like, ‘I’m going to judge you. I don’t care how good you sing because the way I see it is the way it should be and we have to recondition you’.

“These people are beholden to one f****** opinion – or four people’s opinions.” Will has had a long-running feud with Simon which started in 2012. Last year he had another dig and said: “When you see Simon on TV you’re like, ‘Wow, you’re a monster. You’re so mean to these people’.”
