SCHEMING Eva Price asks her love rival Maria Connor to take over as her wedding planner.
Eva was heartbroken when she discovered Aidan had been enjoying an affair with the hairdresser.
But instead of confronting them she hatched a revenge plot to fleece Aidan of his cash by pretending to be pregnant.
This week, viewers will see Eva’s plans stepping up a gear when she suggests a double wedding with Aidan’s dad Johnny and his bride-to-be Jenny Bradley. Jenny isn’t happy, but Eva tells her she is desperate to get married before she gets any bigger.
She then manipulates Aidan into talking to his dad, so it looks like the couple will have to share their big day.
She goes to see unsuspecting Maria, who is to be a bridesmaid, to ask her to take over arrangements
MAX Branning says he will reveal the truth about Steven Beale’s brain tumour to Lauren – unless he does what he wants.
Twisted Max has spent months plotting his revenge against the residents of Albert Square after being wrongly jailed for Lucy Beale’s murder.
Steven told his fiancée Lauren he was dying from a brain tumour to stop her leaving him.
During last week’s episodes he discovered Max was using Carmel Kazemi, who works in the council’s planning department, after catching him romping in the Queen Vic loos with his girlfriend and co-conspirator Fi Browning.
He used his discovery to try to blackmail Max into stopping Lauren from visiting her mum Tanya. But sadly for Steven the blackmail plot backfired and Max ended up turning the screws on him.
He told him he had some tenants that needed evicting and it was down to him to sort it out.
This week viewers will see Max threaten his future son-in-law into doing what he wants or else he will tell Lauren the truth.
Unless he wants to jeopardise his big day, Steven has no choice but to carry out Max’s wishes.
Bosses recently announced actor Aaron Sidwell, who plays Steven, will be leaving at the end of this dramatic storyline. But everyone will have to wait to see if he makes it up the aisle with Lauren.
An EastEnders insider said: “Max has Steven exactly where he wants him. He has known for weeks that Steven is lying to Lauren but has been using it to his advantage. And now he is threatening Steven into carrying out his dirty work.”
Don’t miss the moment when Max threatens Steven on the BBC One soap this Thursday. for her wedding and hen do. She claims she needs to go to France because her mum Stella has been involved in an emergency. Viewers will have to wait to see how Maria reacts and what Eva is up to.
A Corrie insider said: “Eva starts to feel guilty about what she is doing to Aidan when she finds him cooing over her fake scan pictures.
“But it doesn’t last long and she realises she must get on with her revenge plan so she focuses on bringing their wedding forward.
“She then invents an emergency that will take her away from Weatherfield for a couple of weeks, leaving Maria in charge of all the arrangements.
“Maria feels uncomfortable but as far as she is aware Eva has no idea about the affair so she has no choice but to agree.”
