Jungle gives me creeps, says JB

-

FORMER boy band star JB Gill has admitted he’d be too scared to enter the TV jungle.

After JLS split in 2013 he took up farming and is now constantly surrounded by animals.

But no amount of money could convince him to jet to Australia when the show returns in November.

He said: “I could do the eating tasks – that would not be a problem. But the snakes and the spiders…that is not cool for me.

“The whole jungle experience of sleeping on the floor just isn’t for me.

“Potentially having a snake going up your trouser leg is not good. I’ve only seen one snake in the time that I’ve lived on our farm.

“They’re not that common, which is good. But we see a lot of wild deer, which is incredible.”

JB has done a string of reality shows over the years, including Dance Dance Dance and Celebrity MasterChef.

He added: “I’ve always watched I’m A Celeb over the years and it is a great laugh. But I don’t want to do it.”

JB is backing a campaign to urge young people to explore the countryside.

It was announced last week the Brits have been cast in fantasy series Good Omens, which will stream on Amazon’s Prime Video.

The show is based on a novel of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, meaning producers were under pressure from fans to get it right.

One Pratchett follower tweeted: “Spot on casting of both.” Another said: “So excited about Good Omens.”

The series will be available to stream from next year.
