Bombshell return for Liv

TEEN tearaway Liv Flaherty returns this week – and is devastated to discover her brother Aaron Dingle has split from his husband Robert Sugden.

Liv was last seen back in March when she quit the village to take care of her sick mum Sandra who was living abroad.

She returns out of the blue and demands to know why Aaron is no longer with Robert, considering how loved-up they were when she left. Aaron explains what has gone on while she’s been away, and the revelations keep coming as she learns that Rebecca White is carrying Robert’s baby following their fling.

Viewers know Aaron can’t handle the prospect of Rebecca having Robert’s baby – that’s why he dumped his husband. But Liv doesn’t understand why it should be a problem and decides to make it her mission to get the pair back together. Everyone will have to wait to see whether she can reunite the popular couple – dubbed Robron by their fans.

An Emmerdale insider said: “So much has happened in the months that Liv’s been away and she’s not at all impressed with it.

“Aaron gives her a telling off for travelling back to the village on her own, but it’s not long before she finds out what a mess his life is in.

“She truly believes that Aaron and Robert belong together and doesn’t see why Rebecca’s pregnancy should keep them apart. She tries her best to get through to Aaron but he’s not convinced that his future is with Robert.”
