SAM Smith has vowed never to use dat­ing apps de­spite strug­gling to find love.

The Stay With Me singer says he’s too much of a ro­man­tic to use so­cial me­dia – in­stead want­ing to be blown away like the lead­ing light in a ro­man­tic movie.

But de­spite his strug­gles to find “The One”, Sam re­vealed he’s fi­nally fallen in love with him­self af­ter years of in­se­cu­ri­ties.

Rul­ing out dat­ing apps, Sam said: “No, I can­not do that stuff. No of­fence to any­one that uses them, but I am a mas­sive ro­man­tic. I want that La La Land meet. “That is what I am look­ing for.” Sam’s strug­gles to find love helped him shift 12 mil­lion copies of de­but al­bum In The Lonely Hour.

He won ev­ery award go­ing off the back of the record but ad­mit­ted suc­cess has come at a cost.

He said: “I am just con­stantly work­ing and trav­el­ling which doesn’t help.

“It is hard and dif­fi­cult but at the mo­ment I have a re­ally good re­la­tion­ship with my­self, which I haven’t for as long as I can re­mem­ber so it is re­ally good.

“I am re­ally happy be­ing sin­gle for the first time ever.”
