NOTTS COUNTY secured a 4-1 win against 10-man Lincoln and moved to the top of the table.

The Imps had Billy Knott sent off for a high boot and they were a goal behind before the break, when a Jon Stead volley took a wicked deflection and spun into the corner.

The visitors levelled early in the second half through Harry Anderson’s header, but Matt Tootle rifled in a stunning second to restore the Magpies’ advantage soon after.

Padraig Amond scored the only goal of the game for Newport against Grimsby.

Accrington and Cheltenham drew 1-1, with both goals coming in the space of two secondhalf minutes.
