Cops find Kim head

PO­LICE have found the sev­ered head of a jour­nal­ist be­lieved to have been mur­dered on a home-made sub­ma­rine, writes JIMMY McCLOSKEY.

Kim Wall’s re­mains and cloth­ing were dis­cov­ered by divers in Koge Bay, near Copen­hagen, two months af­ter she dis­ap­peared.

Po­lice said the bags, also con­tain­ing a knife and metal pipes, were found not far from where the Swedish woman’s torso was found 11 days af­ter she boarded Peter Mad­sen’s sub­ma­rine on Au­gust 10.

Mr Mad­sen, mur­der­ing her.

Po­lice in­spec­tor Jens Moller Jensen said: “We found a bag within which we found Kim Wall’s clothes and shoes. In the same bag laid a knife and some car pipes to weigh the bag down.”

He said a post-mortem con­firmed it showed “no sign of frac­ture... [or] any sign of other blunt vi­o­lence to the skull”. 46, de­nies
