WHITE WIDOW TERROR THREAT Simon: Make ecstasy legal

-

COMIC Simon Amstell has called for ecstasy to be legalised.

The former Never Mind The Buzzcocks host, 37, said in his new memoir, Help, that he discovered the joys of the drug in its chemical form of MDMA at a dinner party he attended with his boyfriend. Simon wrote: “We went to a party together, where we discovered something called MDMA. Oh my God.

“What kind of a country is this where you can legally buy cigarettes, alcohol and sugar but it’s illegal to be happy?

“It took me a few more days to realise that I should feel quite angry that this medicine isn’t available in pharmacies. MDMA is the pure form of ecstasy, the original name for which was ‘empathy’.”

Simon also said he and his man attended an orgy during which they enjoyed “touching other bodies” but went no further.
