Ex On The Beach babe Kayleigh recently claimed Alex and Olivia’s engagement was a showmance.

But Alex, who finished runner-up on last year’s ITV2 show with Olivia, hit back saying: “I’m not even saying this to be rude but I didn’t even know who she was.

“Someone mentioned it to me and I had to look her up. I did see her on Ex On The Beach but I don’t understand why she is even commenting because she doesn’t even know us.

“I feel like she’s just desperate for attention.”

Alex and Olivia are currently planning their wedding for next summer.

He added: “I’ve moved all my life from Birmingham to Essex to be with Olivia. I don’t get how anyone could think I would do all that and get married to someone just for a shomance.”
