Bey-Jay’s girl stars on stage

-

JAY Z and Beyoncé’s little girl Blue Ivy is about to be immortalised in showbiz as the subject of a Broadway musical.

Top American playwright Ryan Raftery is working on a stage production about growing-up as a five-yearold with world famous, powerful and mega-wealthy parents.

Raftery has written hit plays about US lifestyle guru Martha Stewart’s time behind bars for tax evasion and the controversial life of Andy Cohen, America’s first openly gay TV chat show host.

Now he is turning the spotlight on Blue Ivy for a tongue-in-cheek musical comedy about what it must be like living with Jay and Bey – who welcomed her twin siblings Rumi and Sir Carter into the world in June – as mum and dad.

“The project is in its early stages,” a source close to Raftery confirmed.

And he added that the music power couple and their eldest child “have absolutely nothing to be worried or alarmed about.

“Ryan intends to play it completely for laughs,” said the source.

“But he wouldn’t dream of insulting one of the showbiz world’s most popular and entertaining families.”

Raftery is aiming to open his play in spring 2019.
