ROO ON A BIRTHDAY WARNING

Coleen reads riot act to hubby

- n EXCLUSIVE by JOHN MAHONEY sunday@dailystar.co.uk

BIRTHDAY boy Wayne Rooney has been read the riot act by wife Coleen ahead of a party at a famous drag bar.

Pregnant Coleen is off to Barbados with their three sons for a half-term break but has ordered her wayward hubby to avoid a repeat of his boozy antics the last time she left the country.

Wayne’s Everton teammates and his Manchester United pals are planning a bash at a camp cabaret club on Tuesday to mark his 32nd birthday.

He’s still desperately trying to repair his marriage after the drink-drive conviction that followed his now notorious night on the tiles in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, while his wife was away in Mallorca with the kids.

He was nabbed by cops, three-times over the limit, driving party girl Laura Simpson, 29, in her VW Beetle from a bar on the way towards his £5million home. To celebrate his birthday, the former England skipper’s mates are planning a night out at The Birdcage in Manchester. But Wayne is wondering whether to give it a miss rather than risk the wrath of Coleen, 31, who has been snapped without her wedding ring since Wayne’s court appearance. He was banned from driving for two years and ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community service.

That involves him painting park benches and working at a garden centre in Macclesfield, five miles from his mansion in Prestbury.

Last night a family source said: “If Wayne’s got any sense, he will avoid any birthday celebrations.

“Everton have got three games inside eight days while she’s away, so there would have to be no drinking or messing about.

“Coleen is still not sure what the future holds for them, considering his previous behaviour.

“But Wayne is so determined to get everything on the straight and narrow with his wife.

“He’s a genuine family man, who loves Coleen and dotes on his kids, and is doing his best not to screw up any more.”

For Coleen it will be her second visit of the year to Barbados, having previously visited Ibiza, Portugal, Greece and Italy.
