Anna: Mogul raped me
A STAR of The Sopranos yesterday claimed shamed Harvey Weinstein forced his way into her home before raping her.
Annabella Sciorra says the producer only fled when she started shaking so violently “he must have feared I was having a seizure”.
She alleged the attack happened when she was an Emmy nominee for her role as a mob mistress in The Sopranos TV series.
And Annabella, 57, claims Weinstein later burst into an hotel room in France and tried to force himself on her again.
Fellow actress Daryl Hannah, who appeared in blockbusters including Blade Runner and Splash, became the latest star to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault or harassment.
Daryl, 56, says she was twice forced to use furniture to barricade herself in a hotel room as the movie mogul pounded on her door.
She added: “For nights after, I couldn’t sleep.” Annabella is one of several women among Weinstein’s 70 accusers to claim he raped her, and she is expected to give a statement to police in New York this week.
Task forces in Los Angeles and London are also investigating alleged sexual attacks by the 65-year-old. Anabella claims Weinstein pushed open her apartment door and “started unbuttoning his shirt”.
Then, she alleges, he grabbed her. She said: “He shoved me onto the bed and he got on top of me. I kicked and I yelled.” But she said he overpowered her and forced himself on her.
Later, she said her body began to “shake violently”. Weinstein allegedly cornered her again at the Cannes Film Festival. She was woken by a knock on her door and opened it to see “Harvey in his underwear, holding a bottle of baby oil”. Weinstein has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.
