SLAVEN BILIC last night blasted his West Ham players for errors that cost them two precious points – and could still go on to cost him his job.

The under-fire boss revealed he gave Michail Antonio a rollicking for crossing the ball instead of holding on to it in the 96th minute – a mistake which led to Wilfried Zaha’s dramatic point-saver for Palace.

Bitter Bilic said: “I have spoken to him. He was the one who couldn’t keep the ball and he knows it. We knew the importance of this game and everything was there for us to take three points. To concede like that was a killer.”

Bilic claimed he did not see a spat between skipper Mark Noble and Palace’s Yohan Cabaye at the end of the game but there is likely to be another inquest over the ugly incident which summed up the manager’s – and players’ – frustrations.

He added: “We made bad decisions that shouldn’t happen at this level.

“We had plenty of opportunities to kill off the game and we didn’t.

“To concede a goal in that manner when all we had to do was keep the ball for a few seconds was very frustrating.

“We made a couple of bad decisions in those last two minutes.”
