MARCUS MADDISON struck the only goal as Peterborou­gh ended leaders Shrewsbury’s unbeaten start to the season.

Ben Whiteman hit the winner in Doncaster’s

1-0 victory at 10-man Bury. Sam Hoskins clinched back to back triumphs for Northampto­n with a 1-0 home win over Blackpool.
