BILLY Mitchell shares an emotional kiss with Tina Carter – unaware she is the one who ran over his daughter Janet.

During Friday night’s episode, Tina realised she had knocked down Janet after being mugged at knifepoint outside the cash and carry.

Her big sister Shirley convinced her to keep quiet and checked the car for damage before taking it to be washed.

At the hospital, Janet told her mum Honey that she couldn’t feel her legs – leading to more medical tests for the youngster.

Honey stayed with son Will while Billy went with Janet for a scan. Struggling to cope with everything his little girl was going through he accused Honey of never accepting Janet, who has Downs Syndrome, and favouring Will over his sister.

Furious Honey told him to leave the hospital and during tomorrow night’s episode viewers will see him turning to Tina for support.

An EastEnders insider said: “Tina feels terrible about what has happened.

“She goes round to see Billy to see how Janet is doing and he breaks down while telling her that his daughter may never walk again.

“But Billy has no idea that it was Tina who ran her over.

“Things get pretty emotional between them and they end up sharing a kiss.

“They are both in pieces and turn to each other.”
