YOU’LL NEVER WALTZ ALONE

- ■ EXCLUSIVE by JOHN MAHONEY

LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to go on Strictly.

He’s hooked on the dance contest and has told his coaches he thinks he’s “bold and crazy enough” to take part.

Stuttgart-born Klopp, 50, was sold on watching Strictly by his wife Ulla Sandrock.

And his Anfield assistants are sure he’d be a hit if he was ever invited onto the BBC show.

A source said: “Jurgen is always dancing around the training ground and bouncing along the touchline during games. He feels he’s got what it takes to have a go at Strictly.

“Ulla sat him down in front of the telly and made him watch it.

“She pointed out to him that the posture, fitness and finesse of everyone involved made it the show everyone was watching.

“She also said that because of his outgoing personality and his occasionally manic dashes down the touchline during matches he would not have a confidence problem going on Strictly.”

The former defender would have to get clearance from club chiefs to go on Strictly and his schedule as a manager would make it highly unlikely.

But the source added: “If his name is seriously in the frame for next time he could be a real viewers’ favourite.”
