Moz lamps: Glow­ing, gone!

A STARRY night light fea­tured in the John Lewis Christ­mas ad sold out in min­utes.

The two-minute com­mer­cial shows the friend­ship be­tween Moz the Mon­ster and seven-year-old Joe. On Christ­mas morn­ing, Joe finds a present un­der the tree from Moz – the con­stel­la­tion LED light that sends a star pat­tern across his bed­room, pic­tured.

The por­ta­ble light costs £15 but has al­ready sold out on the John Lewis web­site even af­ter the re­tailer limited or­ders to one light per cus­tomer due to the very high de­mand.

How­ever, other items used in the film, di­rected by Os­car win­ner Michel Gondry, in­clud­ing a cud­dly Moz the Mon­ster toy for £20, are still avail­able.
