EVIL RIPPER: I’LL BE DEAD NEXT YEAR

Monster’s shock claim in a bid to quit prison hell

THE Yorkshire Ripper believes this will be his “last” Christmas.

Peter Sutcliffe wants to be sent back to Broadmoor to spend it with pals – and to get away from Soham child-killer Ian Huntley.

The mass murderer told prison bosses he thinks he will be dead within a year due to failing health.

The monster, who slaughtered 13 women, also claims fellow lags at HMP Frankland, Co Durham, are trying to poison him with drugs.

But sources say his complaints are a cover so he can get out of the tough jail and back to the “cushy” secure mental unit.

One said: “Sutcliffe has been banging on for months about getting back to Broadmoor.

“He claims he is mad not bad, and should be in a secure hospital.

“He thinks he should be allowed back there for Christmas so he can be with his friends.

“Sutcliffe says he feels isolated and threatened inside Frankland Prison, which is making him feel depressed and suicidal.

“He says that his health is failing and that prison life is slowly killing him.

“Only last week he was telling inmates and officers, ‘I won’t survive another year in prison – this will be my last’.

“He’s also claimed that other prisoners keep trying to poison him for a laugh.

“Sutcliffe said that a few weeks ago someone put the zombie drug Spice in his tea for a joke and he passed out.”

Sutcliffe has also developed a “psychopathic hatred” of double murderer Huntley, who he reckons is a sick paedophile.

The source added: “He hates him with a passion. Sutcliffe said that he always wanted kids and even though he murdered 13 women, he hates child-killers.”

Sutcliffe was jailed in 1981 but was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and put in Broadmoor.

In 2015 doctors declared him sane and he was sent back to jail.

But prison sources said he is desperate to return.

Our source added: “Doing time in Broadmoor is a doss.

“Sutcliffe thinks that if he can get back there for Christmas he will be allowed to stay.

“He hasn’t made any formal application to go back there for Christmas yet, but one is expected any day now.”

The source explained: “Sutcliffe had a very cushy life in Broadmoor. He had his own room, with a duck down quilt, a colour TV and video games.

“There were shops where patients could buy sweets, fizzy drinks and crisps and he was treated as a celebrity by staff and inmates.

“In Frankland he is just another psycho and there are a lot of killers more infamous than him, which is one of the reasons why he wants to get out.”
