Bring back Night

-

TOM Hiddleston, inset, and Olivia Colman are gearing up for a TV comeback.

They are set to sign up for the second series of the spy story.

Co-star Alistair Petrie said: “Conversations are ongoing for the show to come back.

“The desire from all of us is to do it. Everyone from the cast is keeping their fingers crossed. It genuinely is a case of ‘watch this space’.

“The BBC would love to do it too and the AMC network in America would love it. And the creators want to do it. The key is getting the right story and the ambition to exceed the first one, otherwise there’s little point doing it. “No-one wants to do a ‘smash and grab’ because it makes sense financially, because if we do that the audience will kick us into touch.” The Night Manager was a ratings hit – pulling in up to 10million fans on Sundays. At the Borne charity’s Wonderland gala fundraiser, Alistair added: “You never know how something will do but when it aired it was an explosion.” SIR Trevor McDonald is set to ditch his serious image.

The newsreading legend let loose during filming for Harry Hill’s Sky1 series.

Fans will see him take part in some nutty cooking challenges.

Harry said: “Trevor was really funny. We got him to cook a camel’s heart. But to be honest most of it was just me taking the Mickey out of him.”

Other stars to sign up for the new series of Tea Time include
