ANT McPartlin enjoyed a dip with a female pal during a break from filming I’m A Celebrity.

The TV favourite, 42, frolicked in the sea with a colleague from his management team.

He was also joined by Declan Donnelly for some fun in the sun on the Australian coast.

Ant looked back to his best after his stint in rehab for addiction to prescription drugs.

Insiders have said he lost a stone in weight while in rehab.

ITV bosses are now confident he will be well enough to host Britain’s Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway in the new year.

STANLEY Johnson has angered his family by going on I’m A Celebrity.

We can reveal loved ones begged him not to take part in the reality show.

The former politician, 77, is dad to six children – including Foreign Secretary Boris, TV journalist Rachel and MP Jo.

ITV bosses have been desperate to get Stanley to sign up for the jungle for years.

He has always respected his family’s wishes and turned down the offers.

But this year he jetted to

Oz without telling his relatives.

It is likely to cause tension with those close to him – including Tory politician Boris, who has been under fire in recent weeks.

In his tell-all autobiography, Stanley reveals his family tried to ban him from doing the show.

He said: “I have had occasional feelers from TV producers who would like me to eat worms in the Australian forests or go on Big Brother, but whenever these overtures have seemed likely to turn into hard offers, a ‘family veto’ has been applied.

“Frankly, I never mind making a fool of myself – that’s what I do for a living. But there are other people, near and dear to me, who do mind. Sometimes you have to take other people’s feelings into account.”

Stanley backtracked on his promise by signing up for this year’s series.

It is thought he will take home a six-figure pay packet.

When he arrived Down Under ahead of last weekend’s launch he admitted he hadn’t told his family he was doing it.

He said: “I don’t think Boris knows. We were told strictly not to tell anybody.

“I haven’t told anyone and I stick by the rules, I can tell you.” Stanley, inset, has become a big favourite among viewers over the past week. He had many viewers laughing when he farted before a Bushtucker Trial.

Last week camp babe Georgia Toffolo, 22, admitted she had a crush on him and revealed she had a thing for older men.

After they bonded she called him “flexible, agile and handsome”. POP legend Peter Waterman says the UK music industry would collapse without Simon Cowell and The X Factor.

The former Pop Idol judge admitted the ITV singing contest had “lost its way” recently.

But he claimed axing The X Factor would be a colossal mistake which would destroy the British pop market. Pete, 70, told the Daily Star Sunday: “I do think X Factor has lost its way. It has become a bit stale, but it is the only thing that is keeping the UK pop industry going.

“That show has launched some incredible artists. You can knock it and talk about ratings, but there’s nothing else around.”

He added: “The record labels have practically given up trying to launch new talent.

“If you take X Factor off air then you don’t have a pop industry. I honestly think it would finish off the industry.

“Now that Top of the Pops isn’t around, Simon Cowell should actually be seen as the saviour of the pop industry.

“The loss of Simon would be colossal. Without Simon the Americans would completely take over the industry.”

Pete launched the careers of Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley and Jason Donovan in the 1980s.

He added: “The X Factor is missing a Leona Lewis or One Direction. They need to find another worldwide star – but the format still works.”

Pete was promoting The Hit Factory: Ultimate Collection compilation CD, which is out now.
