Ron has goal-den touch in Real romp

- EURO ROUND-UP

CRISTIANO RONALDO was presented with his fifth Ballon d’Or before Real Madrid’s clash with Sevilla.

And he celebrated with a double strike at the Bernabeu as Real blew the visitors away in a sensational first half.

Nacho opened the scoring after two minutes when he pounced on a loose ball from a corner.

Ronaldo (below) grabbed his third league goal of the season in the 23rd minute.

And eight minutes later the Portugal ace made it three from the the penalty spot.

Sevilla started the day level on points with Real in fifth place in La Liga but they were 4-0 down in the 38th minute, Toni Kroos slotting past Sergio Rico.

And it was 5-0 three minutes before half time when Achraf Hakimi grabbed his first goal for the club.

Arturo Vidal scored his fourth goal in six games as Bayern Munich stayed in control of the Bundesliga title race. Vidal struck in the 20th minute as Bayern’s 1-0 win at Frankfurt kept them six points clear at the top.

Robert Lewandowski was left on the bench but Munich were still too strong for a Frankfurt side pushing for a top-four spot.

Marius Wolf was dismissed for the home team after a challenge on James Rodriguez. But Wolf had lost his footing making the challenge and after the decision was referred to the video referee the red card was changed to a booking.

Paris St-Germain were without the suspended Neymar for the visit of Lille yesterday.

But Angel Di Maria, Javier Pastore and Kylian Mbappe were all on target as the runaway Ligue 1 leaders won 3-1.

Lille, who took 80 minutes to have a shot on target, managed a late reply through Anwar El Ghazi.
