Corrie actor’s life in tatters
BRUNO Langley has been deserted by his Corrie co-stars since his sex assault shame.
The actor, 34, was sacked after it emerged he groped two women.
Now a string of stars who worked with him on the ITV show have turned their back on him.
Former pals including Antony Cotton, Cath Tyldesley and Brooke Vincent all unfollowed him on Instagram.
Other stars to ditch him include Katie McGlynn, Debbie Rush, Shayne Ward and Sally Ann Matthews.
A show source said: “Bruno’s life has fallen apart. He was hoping his friends would support him but a lot of his co-stars aren’t interested in having anything to do with him.”
Other Corrie favourites including Samia Longchambon, Colson Smith and Qasim Akhtar have also snubbed him online.
Our insider added: “Bruno has been well and truly ditched by the Corrie family. It seems he’s been given the cold shoulder by a lot of the people he used to work with.”
The development is a massive blow for Bruno whose telly career has been left in tatters.
He was fired by Corrie bosses after being charged with groping two women at Manchester’s Band on the Wall nightclub.
It is thought he was partying with a host of co-stars when the incidents happened.
Langley later admitted two offences of sexual assault. He walked free from court but was given a community order and put on the sex offenders’ register.
His exit storyline in Corrie will see his character Todd Grimshaw on the run from the law.
Two unnamed co-stars have previously spoken out about Langley’s shame.
One actress said: “Getting hammered on drink and then assaulting women is no excuse or has any place in this world.
“We on the set were prepared to give Bruno the benefit of the doubt until the allegations were proved.
“There is genuine shock here that he has confessed to these vile, degrading actions against women who were simply trying to enjoy a night out. It’s awful.”
In the past Langley has also starred in Doctor Who, Dalziel and Pascoe and Linda Green.
But it is thought he has been struggling to land TV work since his conviction.
