Big-budget McMafia heads up the winter schedules as our CRIMINAL

-

AGYNESS Deyn found fame as a model, but is now making a name for herself as an actor.

She stars alongside Jim Sturgess in what’s been billed as a pre-apocalyptic crime drama.

The six-parter, set in London, sees them playing police investigating the death of a hacker.

But they get a shock when they learn the world faces certain doom within five years. THE nation was astonished in April 2015 when it emerged pensioners had pulled off one of the biggest heists ever. Jewellery and valuables worth as much as £200million were stolen during a raid on a safe deposit centre in central London.

Now the saga has been made into a gripping four-part drama, written by Jeff Pope.

Timothy Spall, Alex Norton and Kenneth Cranham are among the cast. TELLY’S lewdest comic is determined to become a big hit across the Atlantic. Fans will see Keith, played by Leigh Francis, heading to Los Angeles for his latest series.

But he won’t be alone because he has roped in some of his celebrity mates to help him.

Expect appearances from Emma Bunton, Sharon Osbourne, Gene Simmons and John Barrowman. TELLY’S campest sitcom is making a comeback after more than a decade.

Bosses got all the cast on board, including Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally.

The ninth series was shown in the US last year and went down a storm.

Now British fans will get to see it after Channel 5 won the rights in a big-money deal. THERE’S nothing we Brits love more than a moan, so it’s no surprise this show is 24 years old.

It’s back next week when more celeb panellists will attempt to get their pet hates banished to Room 101 by host Frank Skinner.

Guests will include actress Vicky McClure, Scarlett Moffatt, Geri Horner and comic Josh Widdicombe. IT might be freezing outside but there’s plenty of fun in the sun on the way as the comedy returns for its 10th series. Sherrie Hewson is back as Solana boss Joyce and this time she’ll be getting hitched – to Monty, played by comedy legend John Challis.

Also returning is Tim Healy as cross-dresser Les, and Shane Richie as entertainer Sammy. THERE’S some cracking telly on its way in 2018, with plenty of shows to keep you watching through the winter.

Whether you enjoy a gripping drama or jaw-dropping reality, there’s something for everyone.
