MO SALAH’S stunning start to the season at Liverpool is showing no sign of slowing.
The Anfield livewire bagged another double to make it 23 goals this season – equalling club legend Roger Hunt’s haul of goals scored before the new year, set way back in 1961.
It was also his 17th goal in 17 Premier League games in a sensational individual season, as Kop boss Jurgen Klopp put one over Leicester.
Klopp had lost three times against them in all competitions – his worst personal record in football.
But that sad statistic was swept cleanly away on a day when his new £75million signing, Virgil van Dijk, saw for himself from his VIP seat what a truly lethal combination he will officially join tomorrow.
Liverpool were at their brilliant best after being rocked by a quickfire Jamie Vardy opener.
That came when Leicester themselves were in full flow early on.
And Klopp couldn’t hide his delight about a “perfect” day – although he noticed Salah finished the m good sign”.
