Wayne in Shane shame

-

BOYZONE star Shane Lynch was dealt an embarrassing blow when Wayne Sleep admitted he had no idea who he is.

The pop hunk, 41, is known to millions of music fans and had a string of hits as part of the Irish boy band.

But after entering the CBB house Wayne said to him: “Now I must ask you what you do, because I don’t know.”

Shane said: “Wayne, I’m from a band called Boyzone.”

A red-faced Wayne, 69, replied: “Oh yes, of course…yes, yes, yes, yes. I’m so stupid, aren’t I? Oh good, great.”

Shane then said: “I’m one of the wingmen. So you don’t usually see me up front. So you wouldn’t really know my face. I hide away in the back. I’m the wingman not the sing man.”

Before the lads went in during Friday’s live show, the female housemates were tasked with dishing out jobs.

They were shown interviews with the men to help them decide who was given each role.

When Jonny Mitchell declared feminism had “gone too far” it left most of the women unimpressed.

Glamorous Jess Impiazzi said: “I don’t like him now after that.”

And after Dapper Laughs appeared on the screen, ex-MP Ann Widdecombe admitted she was “not that impressed”.

As a result Jonny and Dapper Laughs were given the worst jobs – as toilet cleaners.

See the latest action from the house in tonight’s highlights show at 9pm on Channel 5.
