The Wright way to burn off the fat with Jess

SECRETS WHICH HELPED HER SHED THOSE BIKINI BULGES

JESS Wright looks hotter than ever despite the January chill.

As Brits take on new diets and gym regimes to get rid of the festive bulge, the TOWIE girl is here to inspire us with her simple workouts.

But it hasn’t always been easy for the Essex lass.

She said: “I have struggled with my weight and fitness regime for my entire life. I had a lack of motivation and determination which made me feel like I never achieved my true fitness potential.”

Her problems came to a head when she was snapped in her bikini on holiday in Las Vegas in 2016.

While Jess was having the time of her life, trolls laid into her online for putting on weight.

She said: “The weight crept up on me. I went to the gym every now and again and I ate what I wanted. But for me to have the body that I want, I can’t do that.

“I felt awful when the Vegas thing happened. All these pictures came out and I was devastated.

“Anybody – male or female – in crazy heat and harsh lighting, on the first couple of days of a holiday, is susceptible to a bad photo. “Sadly, mine became public property for the world to see. You think you’re safe in a private hotel during some downtime!

“I’d be the first to say I’d put weight on. I’d been on holidays, I’d had tons of cheat meals, I’d had more vinos than normal, met amazing people and I wouldn’t change a thing. Life is for living and I was doing exactly that.

“So I decided to do a fitness project to sustain a healthy lifestyle. And it’s changed my life.”

Jess found a personal trainer and learned that just seven exercises were enough to help shift the podge.

And she was so happy with the results she put out her own DVD – The Fi7ness.

She said: “I found that working out five times a week gives you a boost of energy and confidence, and you don’t lose weight and then put it all back on again. I can just completely see all the differences in my clothes and when I’m wearing a bikini.”

For the New Year, Jess has created a whole new work-out that’ll smash the Christmas pounds in just four weeks.

She said: “My 4 Week Fat Burner DVD is a great way to kick start your own journey.

“I now completely enjoy keeping fit, and these programmes help push yourself at a steady and manageable pace, but still get amazing results.

“It’s changed my life so I wanted to give all women the opportunity to also change

theirs.” STAND with your feet slightly wider than hip width apart, weight evenly balanced on each foot and your toes pointing directly forwards or very slightly out. Lower down to a position where your thighs are parallel to the floor by bending your knees and pushing your backside out behind you, ensuring your knees don’t buckle inwards and your lower back doesn’t arch too much. Return to the standing position by squeezing your thighs and buttocks. REST on one elbow and reach directly upwards with the other hand, ensuring both shoulders are drawn away from your ears to give a long, relaxed neck. Let your head tilt so there is a line through the top of your head down through your spine and out through your heels. Abdominals need to be pulled in tight, particularly the obliques at the side, to maintain a lifted position of the hips, with no sagging towards the floor. ASSUME a press-up position with your hands slightly wider than shoulders, arms straight but not locked at the elbow. Rest your shins on the ball and hold your hips so there is only a gentle, comfortable curve in your lower spine. Let the top of your head come forward so you have a natural curve in your neck rather than scrunch it up. Bend your knees and draw them towards your chest, rolling the ball towards your arms. Pause and return the ball to the starting position ensuring the hips don’t drop by keeping your core muscles engaged and pulling up.
