Moira’s corpse anguish

THE police tell Moira Dingle they have found a body – and it could be her son Adam.

During dramatic scenes last week, Cain and Aaron helped Adam to escape from a prison van as he was taken to court after confessing to Emma Barton’s murder.

But, as everyone now knows, it was Moira who pushed troubled Emma to her death after she abducted Moira’s newborn son and made cruel comments about her daughter Holly dying from a drug overdose.

Desperate to stop Adam from going down for a crime he didn’t commit, Cain set up the escape.

He even got help from Robert Sugden’s haulage contacts to get him on a shipping container across to Amsterdam. Moira has been frantically worrying about her son ever since. So when DS Benton arrives at her door she is floored by the revelation.

An Emmerdale insider said: “Moira feels responsible for Adam’s predicament. He discovered the truth and decided to confess to keep his mum out of prison.

“She has been frantic since he went on the run and has been desperate for news that will put her mind at rest.

“So when the police turn up and tell her they’ve found a body and it could be Adam’s, she is totally stressed out.”
