GANGSTER Aidan Maguire confronts Johnny Carter and demands to know how his family got the cash to save the Queen Vic.

Furious Aidan, who is desperate to discover who nicked the loot from his botched robbery, starts to suspect the Carters.

As viewers know, Mick was able to save the pub after discovering Callum “Halfway” Highway’s ring was worth a whopping £200,000.

During Thursday night’s episode, Halfway told Mick he had nicked it from the heist but had no idea it was real.

He told Mick to keep it and save the pub. But as news spreads around the Square, Aidan starts to suspect that they have the missing money.

Instead of going straight to Mick he decides to sound out his son Johnny and demands to know how his dad was able to find such a huge sum to save the pub at the last minute.

An EastEnders insider said: “Mick knows that the ring is from the heist but Halfway told him it fell out of a box before the rest of the loot went missing.

“He has no idea where the money and jewellery is but that won’t stop Aidan from suspecting that he was the one who nicked it all.

“Aidan is not someone to be messed with and he is determined to get to the bottom of it all.

“And once he does it’s not going to be pretty.”
