Troubled Moira wants out

FURIOUS Moira Dingle confronts her meddling mother-in-law Faith after she suggests re-decorating her dead daughter Holly’s bedroom.

Holly overdosed on heroin and it was Moira who found her body.

So when Faith wants to decorate her bedroom for baby Isaac it’s too much for Moira.

She decides it’s time for a fresh start away from the village. Moira’s estranged husband Cain recently finished with his girlfriend Harriet Finch in the hope of a reconciliation with her, while Faith has been insisting that Cain belongs at Butler’s Farm with Moira and their son.

But for the troubled mum, who was recently revealed to have pushed twisted Emma Barton to her death, the forced family set-up is getting on top of her.

Whether or not anyone can change her mind about leaving Emmerdale remains to be seen.

A series insider said: “Moira tells Faith she can’t get over the death of her daughter so easily and it will take more than re-decorating her bedroom.

“She feels like her life is a mess and wants to get away from all the bad stuff that has happened. She believes the only way she can do that is by leaving.

“Cain finds out what she’s planning and is not happy. He confides in his dad Zak who convinces him that if he really loves Moira then he must fight for her.

“Everyone will have to wait to see if Cain can persuade her to stay in the village and give their marriage another chance.”
