DISGRACED Rolf Harris is filming a documentary in a bid to clear his name and save his reputation.

The pervert, who served almost three years in jail for indecently assaulting four girls, is shooting the video with his family on a GoPro camera.

Scenes at Harris’ home near Maidenhead, Berks, feature him, his poorly wife Alwen and daughter Bindi, 53.

Harris is said to be hoping the “happy family” footage will soften his image.

And he has asked other former Operation Yewtree suspects to appear.

A family friend, who has seen footage, told the Daily Star Sunday: “Rolf’s determined to fix his image.

“We were all invited over to the Harris house in Bray for dinner.

“After dinner and wine, we were invited into the living room where Rolf had set up a huge screen.

“There was lots of footage of him pottering about the house, painting, carving into stones.

“But the whole thing seemed quite drab and depressing to tell the truth. It was quite bizarre.

“He clowns about for the camera and there’s quite a bit of footage of Rolf and Alwen, with an emphasis on them holding hands. At one point Bindi leaned over and asked everyone what they thought footage.

“But what can you say really? Clips of Rolf acting the clown and Bindi sitting underneath a tree with his photo on her lap like a little kid?

“It was like watching the geriatric version of the Magic Roundabout.” Scenes were filmed in the 87-yearold’s workshop, Alwen’s crafts room and in the garden.

Our source said his team had yet to find a broadcaster but there was “lots of talk of using social media and the internet”.

The insider added: “They’re trying to get a bunch of Rolf ’s old friends from the media to vouch for him on screen but it’s a tough sell.

“Bindi said that they were looking at people like Shauna Lowry from Animal Hospital, Alan Titchmarsh, Michael Parkinson, Mick Jagger’s daughter Lizzy and Dervla Kirwan, who both posed for portraits, to talk about Rolf as well.

“One of his managers said they were also keen to get any ex-Yewtree people who have been cleared or felt like they were ‘stitched up’.”

Since his release last year, Harris has kept a low profile and spent much of his time caring for ailing Alwen, 85. of the MARK Wright and Michelle Keegan are house hunting in Hollywood for their dream love nest.

The couple have viewed several properties in Los Angeles around the

£2million mark.

Michelle will attempt to crack Hollywood while Mark continues to work on US television show Extra.

The Our Girl actress has agreed to make America her main home after crisis talks to save their marriage.

A source close to the couple said: “Mark and Michelle are currently house hunting in the Hollywood Hills. “They have a budget of around £2m and have stipulated a least three bedrooms for when they start a family.

“Michelle has started auditioning for roles and has agreed to give America a go to support Mark’s TV career.”

Former TOWIE star Mark, 31, and ex-Coronation Street actress Michelle,

30, married in 2015.

But their relationship has recently faced split rumours due to their hectic work schedules.

The pair were rarely in the same country during 2017 as they pursued careers on opposite sides of the world. Our source said: “Mark and Michelle are still very much in love but being apart for so much of their marriage did put a strain on it.

“They’ve both agreed they couldn’t have another year living separate lives.

“Mark has had a huge career break with his job with Extra. Michelle is the one who is more flexible now so she is going to move to Los Angeles and fly back for any UK roles.

“She’s been auditioning for roles including a big new drama on American network ABC and a guest role in the show This Is Us, as well as meeting agents, talent managers and top casting directors.”

The couple have viewed several properties in the Hollywood Hills, close to Universal Studios where Mark works.

A pal of theirs added: “Mark wants to move permanently to Los Angeles whereas Michelle is still unsure.

“She has agreed to move there for a few years on the proviso they will eventually move back to England.”
