Antony ready to rumble

He has already gone to war with bitchy Jason Gardiner, who is known for his nasty comments.
In an exclusive chat, Antony, 42, said: “People are amazed if one of us answers back. But in life if you say something to someone you would expect them to answer back. I think it would be odd not to say something back. So when Jason says something, I say something back. “I’ve known Jason for 20 years. He’s not holding back. He’s given me his opinion and I’ve given him mine. That’s the way it works. I think I’ve given as good as I’ve got so far.
“That’s what life’s about…it’s about conversation and talking to people. If it’s a bit heated that’s all good.”
Antony is so keen for a row, he’s called on Jason, 46, to live up to his reputation. He said: “As a viewer, if I tuned in and Jason wasn’t being himself I would be really disappointed.” Antony, who plays Sean Tully in Corrie, suffered a nasty injury in training last week.
His skating partner Brandee Malto, 37, fell on him leaving him with crushed ribs and he had to be rushed to hospital.
But he insists the toughest part of competing is the schedule.
Antony said: “It’s strenuous. But the main problem is the scheduling between dancing on Ice and Corrie.
“I’m up and down the country all the time.
“But I love the actual skating training – I do four hours on the ice and it just flies by. And I adore Brandee .”
Antony is competing against his Corrie co-star Brooke Vincent, 25. He said: “Brooke is like my little sister. I adore her. I would happily give up my place for Brooke to go through.”
