MEGHAN Markle is going through ‘finishing school’ to turn her into a princess.

Ahead of tying the knot with Prince Harry, the US actress is taking lessons in etiquette and elocution.

A royal source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Meghan is on a crash course with a trusted coach used by the royals.

“There’ll be no stone unturned as in less than 12 weeks all eyes will be on her – there is no room for error.

“Harry has been brought up living and breathing all this. He has a lifetime of nurturing and breeding behind him but Meghan has a matter of weeks to learn what she needs to be accepted at the royal court.

“If she was left without guidance, the marriage would begin in the same vein as Diana and Charles – with the bride feeling helpless and alone.”

On Meghan’s curriculum is everything from table manners to how to dress.

She will learn techniques for climbing out of a car and how to socialise with foreign diplomats.

And her studies will even take in how to run her own household with royal staff at her beck and call.

The source added: “First on the list is silver service – she must be able to tell a fish knife from her butter knife, know how to handle seafood, drink soup and so on.

“Elocution lessons will also feature. Meghan’s American twang will be softened and toned down.

“But more essential is her switching to British terminology – she simply cannot be ‘taking out the trash’ and ‘wearing pants’.

“It’s the fine tuning needed to ensure she’s not lost in translation.”

Meanwhile, a separate source has told the Daily Star Online that two huge names have had invitations to the big day on May 19.

Sir Elton John and Gordon Sumner – famously known as singer Sting – are both on the list. THESE are the gifts Prince Harry could be waking up to on Valentine’s Day.

Meghan Markle shared her pick of romantic presents on her blog.

Las Vegas-loving Harry is bound to like the poker chips or beermaking kit listed by his fiancée. Recommending a pillow embroidered with “Hello there handsome”, Meghan wrote: “What’s the second best thing your man could wake up to (besides your beautiful face, of course?) – a smile-inducing pillow that’ll remind him what you think of him every single day.”

Meghan gave her advice in 2015 on her now defunct The Tig blog.

She also made it easy for her man to select a romantic gift. The former Suits star added: “Be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower... it really is the thought that counts.”
