2 Watford SERGIO AGUERO was again the difference-maker for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City last night.
The Argentine grabbed FOUR more goals to add to his tally for the season as Leicester simply failed to live with the pace, power and presence of the City frontman.
It had looked like the Foxes would make Guardiola & Co work for the three points at The Etihad when Jamie Vardy equalised for the visitors after Raheem Sterling’s early opener. But with the score at 1-1 at half-time, the second half belonged to only one man. And, no, it was not the returning Leicester forward Riyad Mahrez, who was back in the squad for the first time since failing to secure a move to City in January.
But before Mahrez’s arrival as a substitute, Aguero had already sealed the win.
The City striker punished the Foxes at every opportunity and rounded off his performance with a goal in injury time.
Guardiola said: “When one guy is able to score four goals he deserves all the credit.
“We have enjoyed the last seven months but to be admired, loved, given credit for what we have done, we have to win the title.”
