Die Hard hero not dead yet

-

MOVIE action hero Bruce Willis has confirmed he is planning to make another Die Hard film.

Bruce is meeting bosses to work on the sixth film in the franchise, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.

The 62-year-old will reprise the role of New York cop John McClane, who often finds himself in perilous life-threatening positions.

Bruce said: “I am about to wing out to California to start to see what the script looks like.”

Asked if he plans to make it, he replied: “I think so.”

The Moonlighting star said of the 1988 original: “There was a slow start on that one and then it barked.”

Bruce spoke about his return as he promoted his new flick Death Wish on US television.

His five stints as McClane have earned more than

£10.3billion worldwide at the box office.

It is five years since he last appeared in the role with A Good Day to Die Hard.

His debut film, in which he battled terrorist leader Hans Gruber, played by Alan Rickman, made him one of the world’s biggest movie stars.

He followed it with two money-spinning sequels in

1990 and 1995, before Live Free or Die Hard 12 years later.

A Good Day to Die Hard saw McClane fighting to save his estranged son Jack from Russian terrorists.
