ACTOR Ashley Taylor Dawson took a beating from his young son after he kissed Sarah Jayne Dunn in Hollyoaks.
Ashley – Darren Osborne in the Channel 4 soap for nearly 20 years – is involved in one of its sexiest-ever affairs.
His randy character, who is married to Nancy, has been romping with his best mate Luke Morgan’s wife Mandy, played by Sarah.
Talking exclusively to us at Mecca Bingo’s Celebrity Stories event, Ashley said: “I’ve been getting quite a bit of stick on the street with people telling me that I’m a naughty boy!
“And the other week I walked into the living room when Hollyoaks was on.
“My three boys – aged seven, four and one – were all in there. I don’t usually let them watch it as I find it all a bit awkward. “Anyway, just as I walk in it’s the scene where Darren is kissing Mandy, and their little faces just dropped. The little one just smiled…but the eldest one came up and smacked me!
“We had to have a sit down meeting where I explained what was going on. It was one of those moments when you think, ‘What do I do? How do I explain?’

The former X Factor winner, 33, has bowed out as factory boss Aidan Connor after three years on the soap.
He celebrated the end of his time on the cobbles with his co-stars at a bash that went on into the early hours.
Shayne told the Daily Star Sunday: “I had a great party. My mission was to be carried out…and that happened. It was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
“There was Irish dancing. There was a lot going on.
“I had my fiancée Sophie with me as well as my family.
It was just great to celebrate with my loved ones. The turnout was the biggest they’ve had for a Corrie leaving do, which was a massive, humbling moment for me.”
Shayne’s final scenes will be shown next month and soap sources have said his exit will be “explosive”.
Last week he hinted it will be a dark storyline, warning that his character Aidan is “a troubled soul”.
In recent weeks we have seen him donating a kidney to his half-sister Carla (Alison King) and discovering that his ex Eva (Cath Tyldesley) is pregnant with his baby. Shayne said: “It was very surreal filming my final scenes. And quite emotional. I did cry. I think people will be shocked by my leaving storyline. Definitely.
“I can’t say anything about it but I promise it will be worth tuning in for.
“I have been at Corrie for three years and it’s been amazing. I initially signed for just six months so I never expected it to be this incredible.”
Shayne found fame in 2005 when he won the second series of The X Factor.
He went on to have a string of No.1 hits including one of the fastest-selling singles of all-time with That’s My Goal.
But he has no plans to return to music after leaving Corrie and hopes to continue acting.
Earlier this year he told the Daily Star Sunday he wants to join the cast of Peaky Blinders.
Now he has revealed he is up for a role in anything “dark”.
He said: “I’d love to do something quite gritty – to do with the Army or gangs. “That’s where I want to be heading. My focus is now on getting some TV roles. I want to do things that I want to do.”
