Finns looking up for X Factor star

- With ED GLEAVE and PETER DYKE

★ SAARA Aalto has vowed to be more outrageous than ever when she sings for her country.

The former X Factor finalist will be flying the flag for Finland at Eurovision next month. And she is planning the biggest performance of her career.

Saara said: “It’s going to be similar to what I did on X Factor but I’m planning to make it even bigger.

“It’s going to be a big show.”

She’s even gone as far as hiring choreographer Brian Friedman, who has worked with stars including Britney Spears.

Saara added: “After we met on X Factor, Brian always said he’d love to work with me. So when I asked him to work on my Eurovision performance he agreed. I was honoured.”

Saara hopes appearing at Eurovision will mean her entry Monsters becomes a chart hit. She said: “Doing Eurovision is even bigger than X Factor. It’s a great platform for my single.

“People thought I was crazy to leave the Sony label because I could have performed on X Factor. “But it doesn’t matter as Eurovision is an even bigger and better platform than X Factor.” Monsters is out to download now. CHRISTIAN Vit wants to be the next Holby City star to dance on television.

Last year, Strictly bosses picked Joe McFadden and Chizzy Akudolu from the medical drama.

Christian said: “Strictly is such a great show…it’s something I’d definitely consider doing.

“I went to the show last year to support Chizzy and the vibe there was so good.

“I’m not a great dancer. But I think when you’re there, if you have a great partner then you’re in the best situation you can be.”

Strictly will be back in September.
