Haunted nursery for new arrival

-

WILLIAM and Kate have released adorable photos baby Louis getting a whole Lotte love from his sister.

The Duchess of Cambridge took the touching photo on Wednesday – Princess Charlotte’s third birthday. Prince Louis’ big sister is seen giving the newest addition to the family a tender kiss and cuddle. Louis Arthur Charles, born on St George’s Day, is fifth in line to the throne. Kensington Palace said William and Kate were “very pleased” to share the photos, adding: “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank members of the public for all of the kind messages they have received following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.” LITTLE Prince Louis will be brought up in a nursery said to be haunted by three ghosts.

William and Kate’s third child will sleep in a room at Kensington Palace which has become a “notorious spot” for sightings of ghouls.

It will be the same room where Kate and Wills’ eldest child Prince George, four, and daughter Princess Charlotte, two, were nursed after their birth. Royal biographer Andrew Morton – famous for his books on Princess Diana who died 20 years ago – said about the nursery after Prince George was born: “Prince George’s nursery in Apartment 1A of Kensington Palace has been a notorious spot for ghost sightings.”

It is understood royal tots are put in the nursery before being given their own dedicated room in the palace – which Kate, 36, and William, 35, have renovated after moving in from their country estate Anmer Hall in Norfolk ahead of the birth.

The three ghosts said to roam the palace nursery are the spectres of bygone royals George II, Caroline of Brunswick and Princess Sophia.

All have been seen in the room where the latest royal baby is to be nursed.

After George was born, Morton wrote about the ghouls: “Princess Margaret’s housekeeper told her she saw a woman in Regency dress suddenly appear in front of her then vanish through a wall.”

“I don’t believe any exorcism has been carried out, so let’s hope little Prince George can sleep peacefully in his cot at night.”

A royal source added: “Royal children are traditionally brought up in what has become known as the ‘haunted nursery’.”

“Kate and William have not spotted anything spooky there and until they do the room will continue to be used as a nursery.”
