CRAIG David wants to record another ★

song with Rita Ora, 10 years after he helped discover her.

The Your Song singer featured on Craig’s Where’s Your Love track back in 2008 before she was famous.

Craig, who performed yesterday, told me: “I’d love to work with Rita again. She doesn’t get enough credit for how amazing her voice is. It’s been amazing to see her grow as an artist. We are still in touch so watch this space.” Rita performs today.

Weekend history goes to Madonna. The Queen of Pop had an entire VIP village constructed for her and her team when she performed in 2008.

But Scott Mills says she didn’t step foot in it, instead flying straight in and out for her performance. The DJ told me: “Madonna had her own ‘Madonna Village’ for her and all her crew but never once used it.”

RIVALS Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are in talks to duet on a new single.

The former arch-enemies are considering celebrating the end of their six-year feud by teaming up in the recording studio.

Less than a month ago you’d have got better odds on Katie Price having a successful marriage than Katy Perry being seen in the same room as Biggest Weekend headliner Taylor – let alone the same stage.

But the warring pop princesses have both done an unlikely U-turn after Katy sent Taylor a ‘lets-befriends-again’ letter of apology earlier this month.

And what better way to celebrate their burying the hatchet than by writing a sure-fire smash-hit single together?

My US source said: “It is still early days but a collaboration between the two of them has been suggested and it has not been ruled out at this stage.

“Both Katy and Taylor are committed to putting the past behind them and moving on.

“They have been in contact and hope to rebuild their friendship.

“Both their management teams see their new-found friendship as a perfect PR opportunity to capitalise on what has been one of the biggest fallouts in pop history.

“Several ideas have been suggested, including a surprise performance together.

The songwriter, real name Karen Marie Aagaard, has had huge No.1 hits with Cold Water and Lean On, collaborating with Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and DJ Snake in the process.

She said: “My second album is finished and will be released soon. I’m looking forward to UK fans to know who I am as an artist.” MØ was keeping quiet about album collabs but added: “There’s a couple on my album with friends I’ve worked with before.” Florence + The Machine,

Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Niall Horan, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Jason Derulo, Demi Lovato and James Bay are all in Swansea. You can listen to the performances on Radio 1 or watch on BBC iPlayer. Highlights from Belfast (Radio 6) include Franz Ferdinand. Perth and Coventry (Radio 2 & R3) have Noel Gallagher, Emeli Sande

WHILE Harry Styles seems determined to leave One Direction in the past, his former bandmate Liam Payne paid tribute to the boyband that made him a star.

Cheryl’s baby daddy performed the group’s hit History alongside his own hits Strip That Down, Get Low, Bedroom Floor, For You and new single Familiar.

While videos of his bandmates played on the giant screen behind, Liam added: “I love singing that song.”

Liam also covered his friend Charlie Puth’s huge hit Attention. get them writing an anthemic new track.

“Not only would it be a great way to go full circle on their friendship but it would also be a guaranteed global smash.”

It wouldn’t be the first time the two music heavyweights have discussed recording together.

Katy originally tweeted about the pair duetting back in 2009, saying it would “brilliant”.

Since then they’ve both been too busy writing bitchy songs about each other to record a single together.

Let’s hope they stay friends long enough this time to make it happen. Manic Street Preachers, Fall Out Boy and more off the album top spot this year.
