FIZ AND TY UNITE OVER HOPE PLOY
HOPE Stape will play her mum and stepdad off against each other and con them both out of a pair of trainers.
But when Fiz is told Hope has been caught selling them for cash in a sneaky money-making plan, she realises she and Tyrone need to make changes in caring for their two daughters.
Tyrone, who split from Fiz following his romp with Gemma Winter, supports her when they talk to Hope.
Fiz decides to make another go of their relationship but that means her pal Sean Tully needs to move out, leaving him homeless.
An insider said: “Fiz and Tyrone belong together. He made a stupid mistake with Gemma and regretted it.
“They’ve been trying their best these last couple of months to make their separation work but it’s been hard. Hope DOUG Potts is comforted by Brenda Walker after he breaks down over his troubles.
He believes he was responsible for Gerry Roberts’ death but, as viewers know, it was twisted Lachlan White who killed him and then put Doug in the frame.
And after being conned by Terry, who pretended to be Gerry’s long-lost uncle, he hits rock bottom.
As he mulls over everything that has happened, it’s Brenda who is there for him.
And viewers will be left to wonder whether it will lead to something more between them, despite Doug being in a long-term relationship with Diane Sugden.
Brenda was devastated when Doug’s daughter Laurel Thomas ended up with her long-term partner Bob Hope following their shock affair.
An Emmerdale insider said: “Brenda has been struggling to get over what Laurel did to her. She has made the most of playing the pair off against each other, but after the trainer con Fiz realises she needs to bring her family back together.
“Sadly, her decision has devastating consequences and leaves Sean out on the street.”

“It would be a real twist in the storyline, especially as Doug is so low. He feels stupid about being conned and has a court date looming over Gerry’s death.
“So when Diane tells Doug she won’t be going with him to his hearing, everything starts to get on top of him. He loses it and starts smashing up a nearby police car before being arrested.
“When he returns to the village it’s Brenda who is there for him. He opens up and viewers will be in no doubt that something could well happen between the two.”
