-

LDISTRAUGHT Kim Fox Hubbard collapses as she arrives to identify a body police believe could be her missing husband Vincent. During moving scenes last week, Kim found out that she was pregnant with the couple’s second child.

But with Vincent having vanished into thin air, the baby news was bitter sweet.

Kim reported him missing to the police when he failed to turn up, so when she notices their daughter’s savings account has been cleaned out she goes back to report the latest development.

She hopes that the police will be able to find out which bank was used to clear the account.

While she is at the police station, she is shocked when UKE Morgan embarrasses his son Ollie by turning up drunk clutching a bunch of bananas.

Alcoholic Luke, played by Gary Lucy, has fallen off the wagon but his wife Mandy is covering up for him.

Ollie is about to leave for training with football coach Buster Smith when Luke tries to climb on to the minibus.

He falls over and Ollie is mortified. But it’s not just Ollie that Luke’s boozing will have a massive impact on.

As viewers know Mandy, played by Sarah Jayne Dunn, has been enjoying an on-off affair with Luke’s best mate Darren Osborne.

At the moment the affair is off but speaking exclusively to the Daily Star Sunday, Sarah hinted Luke’s drinking could lead her back into Darren’s arms.

She said: “They are drawn back to each other – they just can’t resist. Mandy’s relationship with Luke isn’t great because he’s she hears that a body has been discovered and it looks like it could be her husband.

Her sister Denise and close family friend Patrick Truman accompany her to the morgue but it all becomes too much for Kim and she collapses.

An EastEnders insider told us: “Kim is excited when she sees that Vincent has taken Pearl’s money because it gives her a lead to work on.

“She rushes to the police station but when she gets there she is devastated to discover that they think they have found Vincent – and he is dead.

“But before she can identify the body she collapses. It’s heartbreaking to watch.”

Viewers of the BBC One soap can watch all the drama and find out if the body is Vincent’s tomorrow night. drinking again. They’ve made it worse for themselves by going into business together and have to be around each other all the time.”

Sarah says she’s loving the storyline. “It’s great. When Mandy’s with Luke everything is so strained but there’s real love there.

“Then with Mandy and Darren, they have the passion.

“I get to play so many different emotions which is great for me.”

Viewers can catch Luke’s drunken antics a week on Wednesday.
