Opener ‘boycott’

-

JUST 2,000 England fans will be at the team’s World Cup opener against Tunisia tomorrow.

A similar number have bought tickets for England’s second game against Panama, while fewer than 3,000 are set to go to the clash with Belgium.

Poor sales are being blamed on frosty relations with Russia following the Salisbury poisonings.

Former British ambassador Sir Andrew Wood said: “There must be some sort of Skripal effect and warnings phones will be hacked.’’
