Noel was suited to high life

NOEL Gallagher says that “drugs are not dangerous” – and it’s the consumers who are the problem.

During a US TV interview, Noel, 51, boasted that he was “f***ing great” at taking drugs, like cocaine, during his Oasis days.

He was being interviewed by Aussie comic Jim Jeffries, 41, for his Comedy Central show.

Jim spoke about how he is often drunk on stage and admires Noel for speaking out about his cocaine use.

Jim asked him: “How are you going to tell your two sons and daughter, ‘Hey don’t take drugs’?”

Noel told him: “Well, the drugs are not dangerous it is the people that take them isn’t it?”

Jim reacted: “You have got to be good at it,” to which Noel quickly quipped: “I was f***ing really great at them. And I came out the other side.”

Noel agreed with Jim’s feelings that people who could not handle drugs were “f***ing idiots,” before the Manchester-born star added: “They spoil it for the rest of us.”

The rock legend also spoke of his enjoyment at US President Donald Trump’s term in office.

He added: “I like him for the comedy value. I like the mental image of him in bed having a Twitter spat with the guy from North Korea.”
