Ex-con Sylver has got a cracking plan to land a job at The Emporium, and there’s an offer for ’Ender Rainie

GOLDIE McQueen’s halfbrother Sylver tries to impress Dirk Savage into giving him a job – by cracking his back.

The hunk, who was released from prison last month after serving time for killing his and Goldie’s stepdad, is desperate to rebuild his life and needs someone to give him a chance.

He goes to see Dirk about working at The Emporium, but Dirk isn’t keen on hiring a convicted killer.

But when he starts to complain about his back pain, Sylver knows just what to do and starts working his magic on Dirk.

Having worked at the prison gym he uses his massaging skills in a bid to impress.

Whether it leads to a job at the antiques shop remains to be seen.

A soap insider said: “Sylver is desperate to make amends for what he did and turn his life around.

“He’s served his time for his crime and is trying his best to adjust to life on the outside.

“He needs a job and with Goldie’s help they go to see Dirk.

“Dirk does house clearances as well as running the shop and Sylver reckons he’d be a good fit.

“But Dirk doesn’t agree and feels that having a convicted killer on his books wouldn’t be great PR for his business.

“It’s then that he doubles over in pain with his back and Sylver decides to show him what he can do and gives him a massage. Fans will have to wait to see if it works.”
